Is the free scan really free? What's the catch? +
Genuinely free. No credit card, no hidden tier. We run your CV through the same parsing engine we use for paid reports and send you the top-level results. The business model is that a meaningful percentage of people want more detail than the free scan gives, and they upgrade. Most don't, and that's fine.
How accurate is your scoring? +
Our engine models the logic used by the major ATS platforms — Workday, Greenhouse, Oracle Taleo, iCIMS — which together account for around 80% of mid-to-large employer deployments globally. No tool can exactly replicate a specific employer's configuration, but the structural issues we flag (text boxes, tables, headers, column layouts) cause parsing failures across virtually every modern ATS.
Does this work for UK and US job markets too? +
Yes. The R99 Full Diagnostic Report includes region tuning for South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States. ATS systems themselves are broadly the same worldwide, but keyword conventions and CV formatting expectations differ by region. We automatically detect the target region from your job description or let you specify it.

Your CV is processed to generate your score and report, then stored encrypted for 30 days so you can retrieve or upgrade your report within that window. After 30 days it's permanently deleted. Can I get a refund on the rewrite? +
If your rewritten CV scores lower than your original on our scoring engine, we'll refund the rewrite in full — that's our floor: a Cited rewrite should never make your CV worse. The full refund policy is in our Terms.
